Olivia Lewis, UKRN NZRN

I’m Olivia, an experienced RN, originally from New Zealand. I moved to the United Kingdom in 2018 with my partner who is from London. My main goal was to register as a nurse in the UK and gain some amazing clinical experience. However I quickly realised that the process felt daunting, confusing, and anxiety inducing. When I started studying for the NMC OSCE, my dream of being a UK nurse had never felt so far away. I was determined to study for the OSCE at home, refusing to pay £300+ for a face-to-face course. After 8 weeks of intensive study, I PASSED my OSCE first time! I felt incredibly proud of myself. My passion for helping other nurses in the same position as I was exponentially increased - I started a Facebook community that now has over 5,000 active members. I also work as a freelance writer and blogger, writing countless articles for nurses registering in the UK! I am now a senior nurse working in a paediatric neurological ward and I am in love with every minute of my job. I also have 2 children who I adore. I have big plans for 2024, including releasing a comprehensive OSCE 3 month Study Plan, a CBT guide, study templates, and much more. I hope this guide helps you as much as it helped me.
